
Andrew Esparza
Andy Esparza is a community advocate and pro-bono non-profit consultant. He has served as a non- profit board member for several organizations including the Andy Roddick Foundation, United Way for Greater Austin, Communities in Schools, the Ann Richards School, and the Campanile Foundation at his alma mater of San Diego State University.
His non-profit consulting includes helping organizations develop and achieve their strategic plans and operational goals. He has assisted teams in defining and implementing plans to improve organizational effectiveness, recruit, onboard, and coach senior executives, and strengthen team dynamics.
Andy also consulted with for profit corporations in the solar, semiconductor, call center management, and energy sectors. His focus was developing and supporting the implementation of plans to improve the impact of their human resources organizations.
Prior to starting his consulting career, Andy spent 30 years in human resources management, including serving as Chief Human Resources Officer for Dell Technologies and for Baker-Hughes, a $20B oil field technology and services company. As a member of the executive leadership team at both companies, he led global HR organizations in their efforts to design and implement initiatives to hire, develop, motivate, and retain world class talent.
Andy is proud graduate of San Diego State University and holds a B.S. Degree in Business with a concentration in Management. He and his wife Karen have been residents of Austin, Texas for 28 years.
