JJ has over 30 years of experience in executive leadership roles and board service within the nonprofit and foundation sector. ​Her career has spanned roles in fundraising, communications, program development and startups, and demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within nonprofits.

She served on the executive leadership teams at The Andy Roddick Foundation, Creative Action, and Barton Springs Conservancy. In each of these organizations, she led teams of staff and donors to successfully diversify revenue, implement capital campaigns, and broaden community support, ensuring that all initiatives aligned with both organizational goals and community needs.
